*Granted...this is a bare minimum of the items you would want to begin the adventure of deer hunting.  Also, there are possibly significant additional costs for shipping firearms as they must go through licensed dealers.  Read carefully the Gunbroker instructions if you go this route.  I have bought 4 or 5 firearms via Gunbroker and been very pleased with the value for the money.  But, keep in mind, it is like EBay in many respects...check seller ratings, read descriptions of products, and look carefully at photographs provided.  Finally, unless you are a very savvy person with regard to firearms, HAVE ANY USED FIREARM LOOKED OVER BY A GUNSMITH!  When you have done all this, you will very likely come out way ahead on cost for your firearm, but will have peace of mind that you, a friend, or a loved one, will not be injured or worse.
