Ethical hunters care for their harvest so as not to be wasteful. Please do not enter the field without a plan for how to care for wild game you have harvested. If you will be deer hunting for the first time, consider bringing along a friend who can help you. Having said that, many of us learned how to field dress and butcher venison and other wild game from books (before the internet and videos like these), so you can certainly do it on your own.
