We think you will be pleasantly surprised by the St. Louis area hiking options you have.  There is a lot of green in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and the surrounding areas as well.  Here, we will consider options that are within 50 miles of downtown St. Louis. This includes literally thousands of miles of hiking trails for folks at all levels of fitness and all age groups.
